Mirror’s Edge is defiantly a sleeper to me. I didn’t know what it was about until I played the demo and after playing the demo I wanted to play it. So this game takes place sometime in the future and since things are so tight security was the way people send important messages is through runners they’re basically like UPS but they run on top of buildings anyways your delivering a message to this guys office and he’s dead and come to find out you were set up by another messenger. From this point is where it gets fun.
I think what I like about this game is its a first person platformer. Sometimes your the hunted and sometimes your the hunter. When your getting chased you get an adrenaline rush running, jumping, and sliding over things its just fun. There is combat also which is fun too. Now shes not a supergirl or anything so i doesn’t take much for her to go down but she can disarm her opponents and use their weapons or just take them down and keep going. Its also has a cool art design to it and the colors really play a factor in the game.
Its defiantly a different kind of game but its a gem I think it’s not a very long game but they do have trail modes you can do which is fun. It’s like $10bucks now its defiantly worth check out.
